A knitting pause - Lazy Katy shawlette

E Just a little distraction from my quilty things: the Lazy Katy shawlette. A good chance to make something completely different and to reduce my yarn stash. Many years ago I've bought just one skein of  Noro Kureyon but couldn't find the pattern good enough for the precious yarn. At last I bumped into the Lazy Katy pattern by Birgit Freyer. You know, there are throngs of free patterns in the internet, but this one I've bought. And I'm rather disappointed.with the support: the author didn't clear any of my questions - she didn't answered my mails at all. What does the size 70 x 140 cm mean (you see the quaint form of the shawl)? How can I change the size? How to bind off? As you can see I've solved all the quests, but not due to Birgit Freyer.

For a photoshooting I've found the perfect male model to display the shawlette (my selfie failed completely):

D  Das ist ein Gorilla namens Gavrila, Alter Ego meines Mannes
E It's the gorilla called Gavrila, alter ego of my husband.

Cute and asymmetric too. I mean the shawl.
